Hi I’m Kat

I’m Kat Murphy, founder of Ballet for Every Body and lifelong ballet dancer and teacher. I dedicated most of my life to dance – ballet, modern, and contemporary mainly – but struggled to feel confident, even at the peak of my strength, dancing six-hours or more per day in college, getting positive feedback from artists I deeply looked up to, and booking great gigs as a soloist or core company member.
